Hi people.
New here and been into torches for a while, and getting into modding.
Decided to take a 100w LED module, and drop it into an old torch I found. This was it mocked up for testing purposes:
It worked on the 4 cell, didn't blow up, so I tested a 6 cell, and then moved it to a new housing to test durability and run times. I also removed the lens, and created a larger reflector, as it seemed to improve the concentration of the beam, and narrow the throw.

The camera struggles to pick up the full range, I think the brightness up close causes the phone camera to over-expose and stops you seeing the full range. Seems to work slightly better when I point the beam off the ground a bit. So its hard to show the real power!
