Yes best popcan light IMO! Cant make up my mind if 5000K or 6500K is better though.

This is more of a flooder than a thrower. Just the sheer amount of lumens will get it out there some though. Nice for sure!

Vinh,

Is the XPG3 6500k recommended based solely on price ($100 less)?

Spec wise, it looks like the XPL HI kills it!

if you wait another week or two, there may be a release of a new version , Oslon Black.
It has not been tested yet, but he is building one for the Black Friday sale.
And if it gives good numbers, I'm sure that will be the next spec as an option.

Quite interesting with 18 x Oslon black , how the numbers come out of this light.

My guess would be 10,200 lumen and 125k lux with the olson black ( mt18vn).

Really? I hope not! Hahah I was the Black Friday buyer for this Oslon version.
I was estimating 12000 lumens and at least 150k lux.
My thinking was because if the domed xpg3 version is getting 105kcd, a dedomed xpg2 version would prolly out throw the XPL-HI version of 145k lux.
And so far, Oslon black out throws dedomed xpg2.

Hey Vinh, did you ever get to putting the Olson led in here?

I remember you posting a picture a couple of weeks ago with a spool of LEDs and the MT18 .

Any updates? I think this is my next light in spec 2 but I'm waiting to see how spec 5 turns out. Or should I order it in spec 5 so everyone can have a look?
