Good day all!
Up for grabs is an AlTiN Haiku XM-L2 6V in mint condition.
The AlTiN on the head and body do not perfectly match because they were done at different times.
The head was purchased about 6 months ago in the BST and the body was purchased directly from Don and was coated in modamag's Exotic Coating Service thread back in 2009.
One thing to note about the coating, I am not a fan of the grippy, matt finish of AlTiN so I removed the top layer of the coating with scocthbrite. The AlTiN coating is surprisingly durable.
With the matt finish gone, the surface now reflects light and almost resembles black chrome, a nice dark gray color while having a nice sheen but has the feel of machined titanium.
The difference in tint from the head to body is not drastic although it is more apparent under certain light or angles but is not that noticeable.

The last shot is just for comparison to a natural titanium finish.
