Hello Everyone

I would like to replace my under-cabinet halogen bulbs, which produce a good deal of heat. Currently I have 25 watt G8 bulbs, 3000k, and 240 lumens. I seem to only be able to find 20 watt, 3000k, 160 lumen bulbs. I understand that LEDs save electricity, and last longer. I understand that watts aren't a good way to compare, but everything I've read says lumens is a fair comparison. Maybe it's not as noticeable as the numbers would suggest, but I feel I am going to notice the difference between 160 and 240? Thoughts and suggestions? Thanks.

Are you unwilling to part from the current fixtures? If not, there are Many linear LED replacement fixtures that would be a great improvement from the halogen single point fixtures.
