Vinh, what kind of lux numbers are you seeing with the SST40 version of this light? Is the Lumintop SD26vn still a better compact 26650 thrower?

Is this below correct?

TC20 = throwy (3500 lumens)
TC20vn = floody (3700 lumens)

........and, the link in the OP shows a TC20 at 3800 lumens. Is that the flood or throw version? A little confused as to what is what, but I'm really interested in the light.

They are both floody lights.

The first light at 3500 lm is FACTORY specs measured by Vinh.

The second light listed is the MODIFIED light at 3700 lm measured by Vinh.

Both would be floody with the 70.2 led in that small of a light. :thumbsup:

The 3800 lm link is what the factory states as the output. Vihn measured 3500 as factory specs with his light meter.

All measured specs are based on the results of his personal equipment.

So, what would the 3800 lumen light be then in the link, factory or modified?

How is the beam? :D And what battery do you recommend for the triple? High drain (30A) required for highest output?

Highest drain cells u can buy.
Beam is flawless die to the optics
Hot spot with soft tapering
Hopefully I can do beam shot if its not too raining.
Still need to build HD sample.

What cell did you use for the 3500 Lumen spec?
Will the SST-40 ever be available in neutral white tint?
Can't wait to see beamshots. Very sexy light. :twothumbs
