Hello, I am new to this forum. I have a string of RGB 5050 LEDs. The pins are as follows:
+12VDC
RED
GREEN
BLUE
I would like to use a very small chip that has a memory so that I can Get all RED or all GREEN or all YELLOW. I only want to send a signal to the RED wire for all red leds on, GREEN wire for all the green leds on and RED/GREEN for YELLOW.
Seems rather easy EXCEPT I do not like the Yellow color that comes from tying the red and green wires together. I DO like the yellow that comes from a simple controller that I have. Unfortunately, I do not want to use this big bulky controller. I am hoping there exists a board level component that can achieve the yellow color that we want.
So again:
+12vdc and RED wire = RED LEDs
+12vdc and GREEN wire = GREEN LEDs
+12vdc and RED/GREEN wire = Specific Yellow LEDs
Any suggestions? This is for commercial usage.
