There are a lot of clones around, so where do I find the legit ones at a good price? I'm UK-based.
I don't mind a wait for delivery.

Do I need to make/buy any extra leads to balance charge a serial string of 5 Lithiums (eg my Makita 1830 lamp and drill batteries), if so what?

OT will it handle 6 LiPo in series, which I think might be the cell configuration in the 20V Dewalt batteries.

I got my authentic one from Hobbyking. Also got a clone off of ebay, works almost the same.

Remember the IMAX is itself a clone so getting a clone of that is no big deal. They're about the same. For the 20v or 18v they're both 5s so it'll work fine. You can buy the 5s balance adaptor at the same place you do the charger or find it on eBay or hobby king

Thanks. I wasn't sure what the 's' in '5s' stood for regarding connectors, whether it was 5 cores for charging 4 batteries, 5 series or 6 cells.

5s is 5 series. 5 cells. It's a clone of a bantam bc6 I believe
