Hi All,

Long time forum lurker, first time poster.

Just recently ordered & received a brand new Partner A1 Pro (XP-L v3) from Armytek Canada. I'm liking this light so far, it's really bright on Turbo (only using an Energizer L91 so far), and the build quality & finish are great!

I was familiarizing myself with the included instructions and could get everything to work except for the low-strobe mode ("Strobe1", 15Hz/70lm in the manual). Is this expected?
Perhaps this is another feature that is only supported in the larger format Partner C2/C4s? Could someone else who owns this light chime in and confirm?

Basically, I turn on the light with the rear-switch. Then click and hold the side-button until the strobe starts. Then I try to change the strobe mode by click+holding the side button, but nothing happens, it just continues to strobe at full brightness.

I've included photos of the relevant parts of the manual as well as a picture of the light :)
(not sure how to show these, but here are the links)

Armytek Partner A1 Pro v3 XP-L (Warm). Silver.
SKU: F02702SW

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!

Cheers!

New England woods.
Sometimes AT does updates to it's UI without updating the manual or info online. There might no longer be 2 strobe modes. I would contact them to find out.

Quick update, looks like the light does have two strobe modes.

I was able to try a 14500 battery into my Partner A1 Pro and now can clearly see that there are 2 strobe modes.

Probably I just can't visually tell the brightness difference between the 2 strobe modes when using a regular AA battery. Sorry!

Cheers!

On my Prime A1 Pro, I couldn't tell the difference between the 2 slower strobes until I got outside at a distance.
