Bought it - GORGEOUS light, haven't used it. So needs to be released back into the wild.

Bought from SOYCD on this thread;

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...HI-Stonewash&highlight=haiku+triple+stonewash

From that thread;

  • Stonewash of entire light, clip and screws.
  • XP-L HI U5-4000K triple with Carclo frosted narrow optic.
  • Dr. Jones H17F lucidrv2 programmable driver featuring 24 levels from a very low moonlight up to ~4.5 Amps, multiple memory options, 2 mode groups with up to 7 level settings each. Full details and instructions for the driver can be found on the Mtn Electronics website. Current settings are:
    • Mode Group 1: Hybrid Memory 1, 5, 10, 15, 19, 22 (Alt – 2)
    • Mode Group 2: No Memory 17, 23, 13, 8 (Alt – 2)

  • Custom turned CuTe heatsink to shed the heat.

More detail and pictures on the build can be found here: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/...=1#post4892230

This light requires a hi power IMR16340 battery but will run on a regular CR123 in a pinch at most of the lower levels. I will include one of the newer 15C AW IMR 16340.

Incredible light. Stunning.
I was about to post I'll take it until I scrolled down the thread.
The haiku is one of the only McGizmo lights I haven't owner and this would have been an amazing entry.

Congrars. Please let me know if you want to let it go.
