Oh, man, something else I'll have to throw my wallet at! High CRI, 16 W-hr cell, barely bigger than my 18650 lights that only carry an 11 W-hr cell...

Note to Acebeam!

I'm a L30 owner and love it like others do, but requested you add a brightness between 200 lumens and the 1 lumen "firefly" mode.

So now, the new-tech EC65 brings a 20 lumen setting - great - but lacks a 1 lumen (true firefly) setting.

I want them settings around 20 and 1 lumen on my lights!!!

Anybody else feel the same!?

Jim

L30 lumens: 4000, 2000, 1000, 200, 1
EC65 lumens: 4000, 2000, 653, 300, 20

Me too. CCT on the Nichia...4000K? CCT on the XP-L HI?

The bright low mode sort of kills it for me, but I'm still a sucker for bright, high CRI lights. I will ultimately need to know how the UI works before purchasing.

I am interested in the 4 x XHP35 4,000 lumens product. Because 4,000 lumens in 30mm/1.2 in. x 114.5 x 4.5 in. is very interesting to me.

Your hand wont. Although it depends on the temperatures you expose the flashlight, it gets hot quick and it drops in output even faster. It needs seriosuly low internal resistance batteries to maintain that high output for a reasonable amount of time. I believe the initial current draw on turbo is somewhere around 15 amps. Its lower than that after but to be safe either hi drain protected cells or 20A CDC cells.
