I just picked up a H600Fd MKIV High CRI. I'm using Orbtronic 18650 flat tops. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YLUWE6I/?tag=cpf0b6-20

Stuck the battery in and H1 is not very bright. I tried programming H2 and when cycling through H2, I can not discern any visible difference in the first two levels and the third level is very dim.

I have Zebralights H53Fc and H52 and they are both brighter than this thing. H1 on the H53c is brighter than H1 on the H600Fd. According to Zebralight, the H600Fd high lumens are 1568, 980, 562, and 296 vs the H53Fc 276, 230, 165, and 102.

Am I doing something wrong? Wrong batteries (same results with both batteries)? Defective light? :(

I don't know anything about those batteries but cycling through H2 on my h600fc mkiv is what it should be. I would go into G6 and G7 in their default settings just out of curiosity.

I have a Nitecore P12GT that works fine with the batteries. Orbtronic seems to be GTG in the battery forum and the seller is Orbtronic.

I suspected that my Zebralight H600Fd Mk IV 18650 XHP50.2 Floody 5000K High CRI Headlamp had been damaged, possibly by overheating on H1, the highest light setting. Then I discovered fortunately that the headlamp worked satisfactorily on the G6 program, which has lower light settings.
