Still wanting a good 2-slot charger

Almost every manufacturer comes close, then leaves out one critical feature.

I'd really like:

- 2-slot, fairly compact
- Li-Ion and Nimh
- Must have voltage readout while charging
- Must have 2x1000mA rate for both cell types

Basically an Opus 3100 with just 2-slots would be great. The Xtar VC2 Plus I have is close, but missing the voltage readout. That "gauge" and time remaining I don't care for. SO close though.

Actually, now that I start writing this, it sounds like the Fenix ARE-C1+ is what I'm looking for. But I'm almost to the point of just buying an extra Opus 3100 and leaving it in my car at all times. Not very friendly for packing light though.

I had had the same requirement recently to fast charge cells. It does my C sized Nimh perfect and goes to 2000ma charging with 500, 1000 and 1500ma for lower settings. When I need my higher capacity cells charged fast it's perfect. If I got more time 1500 is perfect and it goes low for nimh or 10440 cells.

Price is great too. It's my most used charger for 18650 high capacity cells and C cells.

I think the Allmaybe (Xtar) TC1 hits all the spots....

Not keen on the USB input, but otherwise it looks pretty good.
