I don't have the Malkoff drop-in but a have a custom copper quad leds drop-in, with copper mcpcb. The special thing about this is that it has the rare nichia 219b 4500k R9080 with best cri and rosy tint, not greenish tint like nichia 219c or 219B 4000k and 5700k

You're referring to the XP-G2 one, right? I have one in the "L" flavor if that interests you.

No this was simply an XPG it has a green board while the XPG-2 will have a silver board. The M61HCRI was a fairly limited thing done maybe late 2012. I don't remember if it was from gene or from illumination supply... either way it was 90+ and something like 3,250K... I haven't seen any other LED that appears as close to a good Incan as this drop in was.

I bought the M61 219B V2 dropin back in April 2016 from Illumination Supply. Absolutely the best of the best. I'm sure that's what Nichia! is looking for...they really need to bring these back!

93CRI, 4000K, but not as warm as it sounds.

I have more nichia lights than I can tell. I really really like xpg and xpg2 LEDs these are my favorite Cree LEDs.

I want to try this one..
