Petzl Myo disrupts my Casio watch

When camping I often hold the light head of my Petzl Myo against the face of my watch, an electronic Casio Oceanus. This energises the lume on the watch very efectively. I did this last weekend and this must have disrupted my watch as the hands were in wacky positions, etc. The manual for the watch explains that magnetic fields or physical shocks can cause this and details a procedure for re-centering all the hands which worked well. It is only later that I put two and two together and figured out that was the cause. Makes sense as the light head is full of circuitry to drive the LEDs. Anyways luckly it apears there is no permanent damage.
