I had three Olight S2As for my general use around the house stuff, and all of them have crapped out after less than two years. All three developed parasitic drain. I'd put fresh batteries in them, and they'd be totally dead within 12 hours, regardless of if they had been used or not. Very frustrating.
So, what I need is a light that:
-Uses 1 or 2 AA batteries (Eneloop-type rechargeables)
-Puts out at least 100 lumens on high
-Has a 50-ish lumen mode
-Has memory
Primary use is navigating the house at night without waking the kids, and use during power outages due to hurricanes, etc. I have other, bigger, more powerful lights aplenty, but need something small-ish to use at home. Leaning towards a Nitecore SENS AA right now, because I found a place with them in stock for $20. Opinions asked for and welcomed!
