Light for Hunting Rabbits with Dogs

Hi,
Looking for the best light to hunt rabbits... I'm presuming high lumens and throw are needed here..
What would the best torches be?

What kind of distances are we talking about here? My personal recommendation, even though I'm not a hunter, would be the Nitecore P30. A single 18650 or two CR123 cell light, its larger head gives it a very good throw up to several hundred yards, with just enough spill so that one can still see the areas around the central beam. Nitecore even sells it in a hunting kit version, with a couple of different rifle/shotgun mounts, and a remote trigger.
I don't have the hunting package, but the P30 is my go to light for anything past my normal EA11 EDC. The light by itself can usually be found for around $50 USD with some judicious shopping, and I believe with the hunting kit it is about double that.

Nitecore has some very reasonably priced headlamps. Since you won't have to worry about shock or recoil they should do the job just fine.

Are we talking about a shotgun, long rifle, or pistol for those pesky bunnies?
