Very curious to see how many people own multiple HDS lights and when you got your first?

I'll start...

5 and it started with the Ultimate 60XRGT back in 2006.

8, but they were from the days in which the lights were $99-199.

Those were the days. I still think that the $99 I spent on my 120E clicky was the best value of any flashlight purchase.

Still have the 120E, but now it has joined by a 219b 200 rotary and high noon rotary. Previously owned but sold another 120E and a 140 high cri XP-G clicky.

Anyone remember when 17670 battery tubes sold out for like 2 bucks each? I got like 8 of them. 😂

I am still using my 120 xp-g HCRI HDS. Got a 140 lumens XP-G HCRI as a backup that is still in plastic.

I have re-started my HDS collection. A HCRI 123 200lm Clicky, a HCRI 18650 200lm Clicky, an unofficial 123 4000k Rotary that Henry and Dan were very kind to put right for me, and a new 123 3000k Clicky. I'd like to replace or replicate my High Noon at some point, and maybe my XR42GT. On hold at the moment though. Probably not jumping into the Ti pool...

3 Rotaries;

HCRI 200 lumen direct from the factory

High Noon purchased on secondary market

300 lumen that is being shipped right now from the factory.

I also bought a used 18650 tube all acquired in the last 12 months.

Good market research, Hogo.

High Noon Rotary

Executive High CRI (4000K R9050)

Plus whatever I score on July, 6th.

I am quite curious. I know that a week after getting my Ultimate 60 XRGT, I ordered another one. I've had the sickness since. I know a lot of folks can relate to that. While I've tried to keep the collection "under control"... I swear they breed.

I have a 100L warm hi-cri executive clickie that I purchased in 2010. It is no longer my most used light, but it is still my favorite.

I've definitely been infected, although my heart still has room for one other manufacturer. Truthfully, I would have pulled the trigger on a 300 by now if all the other options hadn't presented themselves. If I had one thing to contribute to your research, it would be that too many options at one time are like sensory overload. Granted I missed some of the earlier group buys, but if it were stretched out over a year or so, I'd probably buy a 300, a 3 o'clock, and a F89HG. As it is, I can only choose one.

Just a thought.
