Very interesting. But can you "lock out" the High and Turbo modes? Every time you "click through" those modes it will add up to a significant drain from the battery, for no purpose. Also these very high modes will affect your vision when flashing by in pitch dark.

Actually, those modes are pure marketing hype. 4 minutes or 1 minute is not useful for anything.

Actually, those modes are pure marketing hype. 4 minutes or 1 minute is not useful for anything.

It is unable to lock the High and Turbo modes. When it reaches a certain temperature, generally about 60 degrees, then it will automatically downshift.

No, I said lock OUT. To prevent entry into those modes entirely.

The side switch ensures access to all available lighting modes, every click can switch to a higher mode. So if you don't want to enter High mode and Turbo mode, just don't click the switch more after entering the Mid mode. Hope this response can help you.
