***SOLD***

Up for sale is this cool little stainless steel light!

Details:

Make: A modified Airayaland stainless steel flashlight.

Emitter: MT-G2 Q0 5000k neutral white.

This was originally an AA flashlight that was modified to a high-powered mule light by modder "CRX". If you search on budlightforums, you can find his previous work.

It uses a guppy drive v1 with a FET-15. The switch is a forward clicky, and has a green trit in the lanyard loop space.

There is a green glow ring swapped in at the head as well.

The inside of the body has been lined with carbon fiber to reduce battery rattle.

Uses 2 X 14250 batteries that are included in the sale.

DO NOT RUN this light at max unattended, or for too long. It gets VERY hot, very fast, as it is pushing about 1600 lumens.

Asking $72.00 .... (($65.00 PayPal + $7.00 USPS priority mail shipping w/tracking))

CONUS only please

Very interesting item.

OP appears to have a typo regarding battery specs, that you may want to fix, for potential buyers ;)

My Malkoff WildCat v5 is one of my favorite torches ... this has roughly the same output and emitter, in a tube the size of a chapstick. Wow.

It is an amazing little light!
Thank you for your kind words, sir!
I have found that I don't really use it anymore, so off it goes to the next home.

Very interesting little light. Never heard of a 2x14250 light before, especially with that kind of output. It reminds me a little bit of my TnC Microlux Dragon 10440 which puts out 1000 lumens on high. GLWYS.

Yes. The photo with the Blistex was a great idea for understanding the size. Amazing.

Would luv to see a version in copper or brass. ;-)

Re: FS: CRX modded stainless steel flashlight

What the heck, I'll take it.

It's sufficiently unusual enough, and at $72, not that expensive—especially compared to the TnC mokume gane CR2 light I just bought from Thud0123. ;-)

I prefer stainless to titanium (don't care for titanium's often gritty threads, despite the lighter weight). And I like neutral white emitters.

Please PM your payment info.
