Yes, it seems that the last time various H9s were discussed was in 2011. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...f=FORID:9&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=H9&sa.x=0&sa.y=0And I read that H11 to H9 is only safe in projectors. If I had reflectors I wouldn't be asking.

here and here. In the latter, -Virgil- lists several brands with no particular 'favorite'. If the brand you are contemplating isn't listed, that is a sign that it's not one you should get.
For the high beam, use this HIR1 which will fit once you carefully trim the base according to the instructions here. Headlamp condition and aim are already important, but with these upgrades (particularly the H9 upgrade in the low beams because they're used around other traffic, they're critical). Get your headlamps professionally aimed-- and if the lenses show visible degradation you might need to get new OEM headlamps.
