Wife Gave Me a Free Promo Flashlight.. Color Me Slightly Impressed.

Wife brought me one of her works free promo swag flashlights with the department logo on it... Usually they are old school super cool tint shower-heads ala harbor freight, or a single 5mm using button cells.. but not this one!

Rubberized coating, solid clicky, 3xAAA(the carrier is not very high quality), and the thing that made me go...hmm, the reflector LED layout. It is direct drive of course. It is a five led array of some sort under a diffuser. And the Reflector is orange peel wide angle setup.

It will make a great work light imho. Id put it into the 30-50 lumen range. Not bad for free!

That's actually a pretty nice beam pattern. Most times those have horrible artifacts. Fun score!

I like it! Make an excellent glove box light as well.........................you need more, around house, car, work............
