Been on a side by side kick lately and have found the 2-cell SxS format isn't well populated so I've tried to draw up a list of what I could find. Can you guys think of any I missed?

2xAAA
-Acebeam UC15 (2x10440 capable, also 1 of either AAA or 10440 due to parallel layout)
-Coast HX3/4
-Energizer 2AAA Cap Light
-Energizer Compact LED Light
-Freflux Synergy
-Princeton Tec Amp 1L
-Princeton Tec 20
-Pelican Tracker
-TPT EDC
-UK MPL eLED

2xAA
-Frelux Synergy 2 (parallel 1-2 cell)
-Frelux FMLv2 (parallel 1-2 cell)
-Manker T02 (2x14500 capable)
-Nitecore MT22A
-Princeton Tec 20
-Sunwayman D20A
-Streamlight Sidewinder
-Sipik SK75

2xCR123
-CoolFall Spy 005, 007, Tri-V, Trek (2x16340 capable)

2x18650
-Fenix LD50
-Fenix TK35
-Klarus RS30
-Nitecore EC4S
-Nitecore EC4GT
-Nitecore P36
-Sunwayman D40C
-Small Sun ZY-T08

Odd formats
-2x2032
--Energizer Metal Pocket Flashlight

That would seem to be a logical route for a 2-cell SxS light
I suspect that it may be easier / cheaper to machine round tubes, rather than other less regular shapes, even for side-by-side format (although less than ideal from a total volume standpoint)

Whatever, though ... it is your list

It is definitely an easier proposition to produce a round light in a metal, not to mention electronics and what not for LED lights. Still, I'm primarily looking for 2-cell side by sides with at least non-round battery packs.

Thanks sir, added in.

Energizer has added a triple A sized to a classic from the 70's when those were disposable. Radio shack and other stores sold plastic side by sides with a sealed casing for like 99¢ (about $5 in 018 money). Every kid on my block had one. I had a red one.

The green one shown was an incan version I acquired from member garage-boy and was already updated with an early drop in from the days when 100 lumens was the bar. It touts 110.

The blue one is a great shirt pocket light that touts a boat load of runtime to go with it's 40 something lumens. $5 at my local grocery store.

Was just looking at one yesterday, any idea what footprint that LED is?

I do not know enough about LED's to make a stab at that question.
I figured it was a Nichia but the center of the beam was not yellow like the Nichias that Energizer used in other lights. The center is white with a yellow corona around the hotspot and spill. Very slight yellow I should add.

Hmm, sounds promising for so cheap a light.

Was pointed towards another today, a relatively new one too, the Manker T02. 2xAA and 2x14500 with an XHP35 HD in NW or CW configs.

Another to add, a sort of task-light from Coast, the HX3 and HX4 with white and UV or white and red respectively.
