Inter changing battery brands

Good evening all. Sorry if this topic has been brought up in the past. I have a Streamlight HLX using Streamlight brand 18650 batteries. Just ordered a Surefire DFT. Basically asking if the Streamlight batteries would be safe to use in the Surefire.

Most likely yes. The only time it would be unsafe is if the new light would draw more current than the old light and the old batteries are not able to handle the greater current.
