Budget - up to $50 U.S., but I don't feel obligated to go to the upper limit.
Length: 5" or shorter.
Max Dia: Very close to 1".
At least 3 output modes. I wan't a level low enough for up close usage.
Blinky modes must be hidden and on-demand only - not in main mode series.
Preferably direct access to low and high from off.
Max throw of at least 200m, preferably 300 or more.
Focuses all the way down the the square die shape, or very close for max throw and minimal spill.
Flood must be uniform throughout.
Neutral, or near neutral tint (4000 to 6000k). Slightly warm is acceptable, but no blue or greens desired.
In-light recharging is a bonus, but not required.
I don't have any non-dedicated 18650 batteries, so battery included is a plus.
Trying to navigate the world of zoomies is overwhelming.
The Convoy BD04 is of about the right size, but I can't find any reviews that describe whether the blinky modes are hidden, or whether you have to go through them in the main mode sequence.
I have a 1AA zoomie that I like and it throws impressively for it's size, but I have a larger 18650 zoomie that really throws, but it's way too large for EDC (NAPA Blue Fuel 18650 rechargeable).
I want to be able to carry this clipped to the top of my back pocket.
Bezel up or down is probably fine - I currently carry my Coast HX5 bezel up clipped inside my back pocket.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.
