Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

My tange v1 is working fine now that I pressed it back together with more strength than a schoolgirl. It was literally losing contact because the press fit was no good. I pushed it together with a loud pop and now it's fine

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

Tange was flimsy and just a piece of junk
Testing 3 Samples simultaneously and so far so good
Built and feels like a TANK!
Looks like a .45ACP
XPG3 6500K give perfect floody white beam
Operate flawlessly
Touch is responsive
Tail stand at an angle!!! LOL
USB port cover is smooth with nice Oring
Every body part is thick
Ran 2 full battery cycles on turbo with each and all recharges fine
Recharging for 3rd cycle now
Long runtime! (I will let you guys do official runtime tests)
If this light is reliable then it was the Tange that was intended
Original Tange was suppose to help fund Genesis but did way more damaged than anticipated
Going to test the crap out of the V2 before we give this another shot
Light gets warm after a long run suggesting good heat sinking

Low: 2L
Medium: 20L
High: 120L

After a long while light just stay at 70L forever. Crazy long runtime!

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

Light last too long so I just pop it back in to charge. Man this is going good. I am excited again. If only the Orginal Tange was like this! This model cost $3 more to build but its worth it!!!

Interested in it if it can have a Nichia Optisolis inside.

Can I someone help me do Runtime test for all L-M-H? I will send a Tange V2 with your choice of color. Thanks!

FYI the runtime is CRAZY!!!! You are going to have to have a plan ;-)

I'll be ordering a few of these I'm sure. Delynn loves the first one she got after it started working

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

It can but the prices will unfortunately be quite a bit higher...

Yeah it'd be like a one-off type of thing custom order. Supposedly Optisolis is very, very picky with what optics it's in though, so it will probably end up being an E21A 9080 4000k.

Asides torture testing, seems as though all of the Tange V1s failed after charging, so I'd make sure to test that in depth.

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

Vinh gutsy move. I bought 4 of the original tange and all failed within a week. I didn't want a refund your work speaks for itself and I figured I was supporting your genesis light project. That being said I will take 4 of these when they go on sale. Keep up the good work.

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

Last night running out of things to test I put a few in the freezer while on. Still works!!!! All recharges up perfectly. Give me more test ideas. I am running out of ideas. Each have about 7 charges cycles by now and is still flawless.

Left this one on at 2L mode and it has been on for 10 hours already.

Re: Tange V2 - Yikes!

So I let all three ran and left the entire day. Came back all three dead. Recharge and they are still great. At this point I will assume these are as well built as possible possible. :)
