Has variable power output(when turning on, keep slider button press and the output power goes down)
Uses 2 x 2032 batteries

Yes, Steve Ku. He released the LT-R0, then the LT-R1, and now the successor of the Avant (can't remember the new name).

The successor to the AvanTi was supposed to be the RadixTi, but that one never materialize, and a few months back Steve launch the R2. This one is from PKT Design that from my understanding is the guy who machined the titanium parts for Steve.

Not quite accurate: Firstly, the R0, R1 & R2 are completely
machined by Steve inhouse. None of these are actual successors
to the Radix which was never produced as the R0&R1 are much
smaller coin cell lights & the R2 is a dual emitter light. The coming
R3 will be a single emitter light but again, very different than
what the Radix was supposed to be. BTW, I have a couple R1's
and they are fantastic little lights. Currently using one as
a nightstand light-GLWS, that's a little gem you got there!

R1 here and is a pretty good little light.
