Amazon still has some retail boxes of Necco wafers left.
No shortage of Ghirardelli stores out here since it's a San Francisco company; for the record, the year Mr. Hershey saw his first chocolate-making machine was the year Mr. Ghirardelli died. It's still considered store-shelf chocolate though, for treating others/yourself and particularly Valentine's Day, we buy See's handmade chocolates - they have a giant menu of truffles, including blueberry, and pineapple, and key lime..
If we're going the non-chocolate route, I'm getting Jelly Bellies; you can't go wrong with 40+ flavors in one bag (and I've had them all memorized since I was a kid.)
