My SUV was broken into Tuesday and my JetBeam RRT-3 was stolen.

Looking for a replacement along the similar size and capability.

Established brand only, please.

Thanks.

Re: Help me replace my JetBeam RRT-3

Post in the "recommend me a light for" section. Somebody with some knowledge of the light will help you there. : D

You could try a WTB for another RRT-3 I suppose ?

You could also try filling out the questionnaire, listed as a "sticky" at the top of this forum (listing price, lumens, beam shape, etc, etc)

The RRT-3 was discontinued a while back, I believe, and many may no longer be familiar with it now ....

Sky Lumen makes/mods many lights in this category (high lumen, "popcan" flooder)

How about a fenix E35?

Or for a bit more Zebralight 600

Nitecore EC22 infinitely variable

Or I think I would choose Olight S2R.

I also picked up a Thrunite TN30 Mini.

Both are NW tints.

I am amazed at the small size of the TC20. Such a compact light and the output and throw is amazing for the size. In-light charging is nice, too. This light is small enough that it will go in my day pack.

The TN30 Mini is more along the lines of the RRT-3, although it is brighter, smaller, takes 1 more battery, and doesn't take CR123's, which is a bummer. I always like to be able to use 123's in an emergency situation if needed.

I bought both of these lights for half of what one would have paid for an RRT-3 in the day.
