I'm a total newbie when it comes to 18350 and am looking for 1 for my Thrunite Neutron 2C V3. I'd prefer a protected battery and I came across this one at Illumination Gear (not sure if I can post a link to it). The price is right and it claims to have a relatively high capacity compared to other 18350s. Too good to be true?

As I've never used those batteries I will not give an opinion on them based off of reading. Look up user HKJ on these forums and look at his charts. Or PM him, he has fantastic info and is extremely helpful!! Hope this helps.

Pretty sure it is the same cell as the Aspire, Keeppower, and Vapcell batteries. If so, 1300mAh is a bit optimistic but it should still be in the 1100-1200mAh range. I just looked and didn't see this cell on HKJ's comparator.

I did quite a bit of searching on this battery on here, BLF and Google. Nothing.

I would just go for it. Eagletac isn't known for sketchy cells and the 1300mAh claim is inline with other 18350s, such as the Aspire's that were originally marketed at 1300. So not really "too good to be true", just maybe a bit of exaggeration.
