Well, I suppose nothing lasts forever.
Just this morning, I realized that Slot 2 no longer works, so that's Slot 1 & 2 out to pasture.
Slot 1 went arse up about 2 years ago, so maybe if I'm lucky, Slot 3 & 4 will last another couple years.

Edit - I suppose if/when these slots go, the Opus BT-C3100 charger seems to have good reviews and for noticeably less than the Maha C9000.
