CandlePowerForums
The General Flashlight Discussion forum has seen an increase in posted threads that could fit more appropriately in the other various forums, here at CPF. Too many threads are being moved out of General.
The General Forum is here for flashlight related content, and as such, sometimes crosses between incan and LED. Please, though, before posting a thread in General, consider if your material would be more relevant in one of the other sub-forums.
Blatant off-topic posts may be deleted, or moved to the appropriate forum without notification or a forwarding link. Consistent off-topic postings in General may result in disciplinary action.

Default Re: EDC AA Light that can be used to strike. Suggestions?

Sorry, I missed your question earlier.

The site is still very much active - in fact, there are a couple of Solarforce/SBFlashlight threads in the "Dealer's Corner" forum.

The L2 and L2P run on 2 CR123s.

The L2-R runs on 2 AAs.

In short, it depends on the host you want - the SBFlashlight is pretty unique in that it allows you to customize the output you want after picking the host, which determines the types of batteries.
