Sorry for some confusion. Indeed the EDC-DFT head threads are different (wider) over the E-series. It's thread is the same as the M600DF Weapons Light series, so heads that fit on that thread/body would be compatible. Just want to see how it looks. :) What I only have with me is the Weltool...- akula88

SureFire EDC1-DFT and EDC2-DFT
Just for curiousity. Can other users of EDC1/2 here post if they have other heads that legos without problem on the EDC1/2 DFT body ? I'm talking about Weltool T-series heads, Cloud Defensive, Mod Light, Malkoff, etc.- akula88

Finally the -HA arrived a few days ago. Finish is ODish brown, and is a bit lighter when compared to the finish of the older Outdoorsman E1/2L-U- akula88

I think I rounded it off too much :) Anyway, a plastic caliper does comes in handy with our hobby, (especially with batteries). I've tested these batteries (just 'flash' testing), both button and flat top. All would work with the EDC1, though you need to be careful for those which have...- akula88
