sofirn SP36 BLF Anduril 2.0 - Button LED's stay lit?

I don't know yet, as I haven't charged the batteries since first charge, when I first received the light. This was about 3 months ago. I have admittedly not used the light that much since I received it.

sofirn SP36 BLF Anduril 2.0 - Button LED's stay lit?

My Sofirn Q8 Plus is the same way. But I actually like the 2 green dots. Makes it easier to find the flashlight in case of a sudden blackout, and I can at a glance tell the battery level. That is worth the parasitic drain for me.

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

Got it. According to DeWalt's nomenclature (not a word I have ever used before), you get a case included if the tool has a T at the end. If it doesn't, it's either nothing or a cardboard box. The nailer would be (at least for me, I don't know if DeWalt also has different names in different...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

Probably a silly question, but what is a hard case? Is it an extra robust enclosure or a hardened box? A couple of my cordless DeWalt tools has arrived in something called a "Powerstack" case (is this the same as TSTAK?). I don't know whether these cases are different from from the...

Anyone else SICK & TIRED of hearing about "AI"??

Yeah, and working with IT, I am already VERY tired of hearing about AI this and AI that. Worst thing is, it's still only in its infant stages, and we're already being massively bombarded with it. >-< "AI will very confidently be wrong" is a phrase I have come to embrace. And I fear, when AI...

BR30 Led bulbs for recessed fixtures

I have had humming, buzzing and flickering with cheaper bulbs (E27 socket), but no such issues with my current bulbs (Philips R7s and Osram E14 mini bulb). I have had the most luck with dimmable bulbs though, even in non-dimmable fixtures. This is just my opinion, but even though LED bulbs are...

BR30 Led bulbs for recessed fixtures

For LED-bulbs in general, in my experience you get ~6 years out of them, regardless. The "10 year lifespan" is practically just marketing BS, as the fine print says it does the 10 year calculation based on only a limited usage per day (6 hours or so). I am unfamiliar with the BR30 (is this the...

    Small(ish) custom quality light?

Emisar may have a few Titanium choice options for you, depending on how fancy you are feeling (such as getting a Ti "colorful"). https://intl-outdoor.com/emisar-d4kti-21700-high-power-edc-flashlight.html https://intl-outdoor.com/kr4-ti-colorful-series.html...

    UPS Replacement Batteries

I am considering something...I guess it would be both separate and dedicated. As in, having the production parts (solar panels) on the outside, and the converter and capacitor / battery on the inside, together with the UPS I already have. What I am looking at is essentially a Jackery (it will...

    UPS Replacement Batteries

I cannot speak for 3rd party battery replacements, but I am in the same boat. I have 4x APC UPSs around the house (server, main network equipment, office PC and gaming PC), and I fear for my main one (an older APC Back-UPS RS1500 LCD). A new unit would for me be the APC Back-UPS Pro BR1500G...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

It's an adjustable torque wrench I'm after. Thank you, I see I used the wrong word in my above post. Corrected now. My use will be to tighten lug nuts to the correct Nm for my car. And yeah, I check the adjuster screw every time before use. And I still have to apply some lateral force on top of...

    LED bulbs suck!

I swear by Osram or Philips LED-bulbs. Still haven't found the "perfect" bulb (want to try some hCRI E27 60W, but availability is far from the best here), but even the $10 tri-packs (EAN 8719514266759) works fine for me. They don't give the claimed "10 years runtime" (more like 6), though I have...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

When I do go cheap on my tools (and this is only for hand tools), I keep them in a box that is exclusively for indoor use. Such as fastening a TV-mount, or adjusting a screw on my monitor stand. Anything where excessive force isn't necessary. The only outdoor-use exception is the $2 stubby...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

Okay, that is a fair point. I've bought all my own tools new, if at least usually on sale, with prices accordingly. There is usually nothing wrong with buying used tools, if they've been maintained properly. And if they are cheap enough or if you don't care (speaking for all of us here), why not...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

"Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?" Whatever works for you, my guy. Whatever works. (y) EDIT: Seriously though, I would argue for staying on a single system for optimal battery compatibility, with exceptions obviously for corded tools. Damn shame the corporations doesn't make...
