Hey @Eddie P

Love my Novatac, I run an ancient AW batt in mine too! Remember, when switching from a primary batt to a rechargeable, there's a "battery-detect-reset" you do so the light works best with the battery in it...

From the manual: "Installing a New BatteryUnscrew the battery compartment at the head or the button cap.Insert a new battery into the battery compartment so the positiveterminal is toward the front of the light. Be sure both the headand button cap are screwed on snugly. If the battery is insertedbackwards the light will not turn on.A rechargeable battery must be fully charged before installation. When changing to or from a rechargeable battery a Battery-DetectReset is required.Battery-Detect-Reset1. Turn the light on.2. Unscrew the battery case until the light turns off.3. Screw the battery case back together; there will be onesecond of dim light.4. During the one second of dim light, press and hold the button.5. You will see five Mine seconds of bright light, followed by dim light.6. Release the button when the light goes dim.7. The Battery-Detect-Reset is complete. If the button is released during the brighter light period, the ErrorFlash Sequence of six rapid flashes will be displayed. The light willnot detect the new battery configuration and damage may occur to the rechargeable battery."

Yes I noticed it was quirky if you did not do it right. Yours takes 2 batteries correct?

My 120T also takes a single battery. All of them in stock form did.

Ok Gentleman, not being a flashlight expert, I figured this forum would steer me in the right direction. For some odd reason I thought mine took 2 Batts. I checked its one. I have seen new novatac 120 T not even the same color. Mine is like a drab green. So not the same , let's just say it's like new but old.
Now I looked at the AW cells I had,
Ic protected built in
Li-ion Rechargeable
3.7 volts
ICR 123 750 mah.

That said I looked but came up with nothing. However I found seems maybe a hitch weaker
16340
ARBL-700 UP
USB RECHARGE WHICH BITHERS ME
13.6 VOLT 700 MAH
LI-ION PROTECTION IN THE ANODE.
MARKETED FOR Fenix. The funny part I knew that guy when he had 1 tiny store, seems like he sold out and Fenix is international. Told you I was old.
I will report back as soon as I get them.
The charge deal kinda went over my head. Still I will use my ultra fire unit. Melt downs don't bother me, the damage does.
Thank you everyone I should have these next week.

This Hashimoto Disease really messes with my mind. I think final stage. As they misdiagnosed me 35 years ago. That's 35 years of the wrong meds. Not enough space on this forum to list my issues. Going to try a different approach the pills I'm sick of.

Thank You Guys,
Ed1
