That is precisely one of the two sports sedans I'm seriously considering. Ironically, park them next to each other, and the current 3 is barely shorter than my 2009 Mazda 6.

So, is this the other one?

That (U.S. spec) 2026 Mazda 3 Turbo Premium Plus looks pretty nice. AWD, 227hp, 310tq, 27/32mpg. As heavy as the CX-5, but it's down low. I imagine there will be "tuned suspension" companies lining-up to massage this one to another level.

Good choice.

Very beautiful. Yeah, I'd not kick an AMG GT 63 out of the garage, either.

Did a bit of configuring. Needs a bronze-tinted wheel, and IMO body-colored accents (around the door windows, perhaps the little qtr panel 'air scoop' thingy). One certain fact: the owner of my local gas station would put me on his holiday list for the "Christmas turkey". What a way to go, though, yeah?

Maybe ten years ago, walked past an AMG GT3 race car at R.A. with the hood up.
At first glance I thought, where's the engine? It's so far back toward the drivers cabin you wouldn't believe it.

Because of this, it is arguably the best handling front engined V8 race car ever (because of its balance)
... you could also argue that it be called mid engined

You'd go crazy at this museum "collection" I visited a few years ago:

Whoa. That's a nice gathering of "eye candy" and engineering of the day, isn't it?

$5 for self-guided in the one group, then $20 for a guided tour of "the good stuff" in the other group.

Next time I'm out that way, I'll consider making the time. Thank you for the heads-up.
