Anyone else completely against lights with built in batteries?

The I1R is a special case. I only use it as a necklace in very wet environments when I can't carry anything else, like canoeing. I won't go without a knife, a light and a lighter.

Anyone else completely against lights with built in batteries?

Are we making a distinction here between "Not hot swappable" and "Not user replaceable"? Sometimes "Not got swappable" is annoying, but I tolerate it on certain lights for certain purposes. "Not user replaceable" comes in two flavors. One is sealed shut, it ain't happening, and two is, there...

Anyone else completely against lights with built in batteries?

I have a Nitecore EDC that I bought for work. It has a built in battery. I'm not crazy about that, but it will almost certainly be lost, dropped, smashed or just flat worn out before it needs a new pack. For lights that I NEED to work, but don't get used every day, I definitely prefer stand...

Which discontinued flashlights do you wish were still made?

I just sold a mint EX11, they're still out there if you look.

Which discontinued flashlights do you wish were still made?

That looks like a dead ringer for a Nitecore I bought for a gift awhile back, idk if they still make it. But for the OP Nitecore D10 all day long..

    How was your day?

Pretty poorly to be honest. But I have most of my health, and a decent marriage, so I'm going to suck it up and move along. Nothing I'm facing holds a candle to opening the door to find uniformed officers there to inform you of your service members passing, so all I all in all, I guess my day...

How about some blue collar for the mix. Hogue Deca Magnacut, and a Nitecore EDC 09.

    ---Immediately Accessible Neck Light---

I made a few necklace lights. My general duty version is a Tini2 with a micro paracord necklace. I use marine grade (hot glue lined) heat shrink tube to make one large loop for your neck, and one small loop for the light. That gives you a break away point for safety.. it also has a magnetic...

    Nitecore D10 collection

Possibly.. They're one of my favorites too. But I don't use them much anymore.. I'll have to get them out and get some detailed pictures for you. I've never found any info on the silver one, and yours is the only other one I've ever seen. One of mine is an 11.2 with H/M/L instead of infinite...

    Do you have 8 minutes?

Very interesting.. I believe that we still have a lot to learn, about a lot of things..

    sanding cast iron skillets?

Once done, clean it, then heat it up enough to melt some beeswax in the bottom like a pat of butter. Just enough to wet the whole pan bottom. True Value has the wax here in little 2 packs that look like Reese's cups. Turn the pan upside down on your grill and cook at 500ish till the smoke stops...
