    if your looking to machine the lid & bottom of box quite thin I would start with just a resin with colour pigments added. The wood can be a little unstable if not done right. search out people who make Vape box blanks on Instagram

    I make carbon rings, and yes very expensive. It's horrible to work and does indeed f*** all your tools up. I hate using it, but it does look cool. Resin and resin/wood hybrids are real easy to work. You need the right resin for what you want though as there are 3 main types.
