    Surefire e2dl ultra

    The E2DL Ultra is in the testing phase right now. This light gets warm pretty fast on the 500 lm setting. April 30 is the release date. The prongs are not as pronounced in this new model. Springs front and back of battery.

    We did wait 2 years for the LX2 Lumamax Ultra to never come out. Building up hype without delivering is frustrating and inconsiderate for loyal customers.

    My point is Surefire is not making any other TIR flashlight with 500 lm. Not everybody wants a sharp pointy flashlight in their pocket.

    No April fools joke I promise. I would never joke about flashlights. The Lumamax Ultra is a dead project. So I was hoping maybe Surefire would produce a E2DL Ultra without spikes to make up for the loss of the Lumamax Ultra.

    Since Surefire decided not to make the Lumamax Ultra. The only light similar to this is the E2DL Ultra. I would be very happy with this light if it didn't have the spikes on it. Unfortunately the only way to get this light at this time is the fantasy strike bezel.

    It was me. Now that Surefire is not going to produce the Lumamax Ultra, production for the E2DL Ultra is scheduled for April. Don't get too excited, Surefire may change their mind on this one too. Like so many people before me have said: I will believe it when Surefire actually ships it...

    For two years in a row they were supposed to produce this light. Now Surefire says it's a dead project. Who knows what they were thinking?

    The regulation is so bad why bother with it all? Might as well not even have a regulation circuit in this light. From what you said I'm sure you would never even notice the light getting dimmer by the minute.

    I can say the same for all the excuses being made. It's a Surefire I expect better!!!
