Kosen MDC AA 3500k in hand. Dumb question for you Malkoff pros....all my old MDCs are locked out with the smallest twist of the head. The Kosen MDC 3500K (and maybe all newer Malkoffs?) no lockout with head twist (maybe at least until there's no contact with the battery). My MDCs are all 2016... -

I looked up the FFL351A 1800K LED and it looks nice, unfortunately! It’s Rosy which is nice even if it’s hard to see in the orange colored beam. Sounds like it’s a better candle light color (that's subjective of course) than the 519a 2700k dedome which results in around 2100k. -

Thanks for the pictures! It's interesting. The jump from 3500 to 4000 (first picture) looks typical from my experience. But the second picture, the 3000 to 3500k, that looks like quite a bit of difference. If you told me the left was 3000k, I'd have guessed the middle at 4000k easily. Anyway... -
