Honestly JTR, i would recommend forgetting all investing for now and focus on building your successful sounding business. Crypto and adjacent investments have claimed so much capital from people, and it's inarguable that you have put far too much faith in this "friend" who is either in on it, or... -

That's how recovery scammers work man. They prey on peoples sunk cost fallacy and hope by making it seem doable and they "just need a LITTLE more money, just a drop in the bucket compared to how much you'll get back" and wring people dry completely. Scammers are scum, just the worst kind of people. -

JTR can you be sure this isn't a Recovery Scammer? it's a HIGHLY common type of scam when someone falls victim to investment scams. I would tread very carefully, it really sounds like a secondary scam. I'm very sorry this happened to you.
