Thanks for the pics. So are you saying the white disc will not work on the rotary, or it may work if you assemble it carefully? I’ve always wondered as my rotary button has a little more travel than I prefer. -

The lack of user serviceability of the boot is the big sore thumb of the rotary design. The guy who recently demonstrated the removal of the tailcap and PCB had my attention because someday this is something we’ll have to deal with ourselves. -

Me too. I think this fandango may have got started with my request for stainless caps in the main thread. I’m 18650-only now, and I’m pretty sure this run will be CR123 like all the other special metal runs. But I like the extra heft the stainless cap brings to my 18650 rotary so I’d buy 3-4...
