    Swiss Army Knives roll call.

    I really enjoyed both of those places, but you're right; it just became toxic. I was part of the 2nd Gen wave of discontent and went back occasionally to survey the damage. Now with the Planet gone there are fewer places for us of like minds to gather and carry on about our hobby. Sad really.

    I carry both a micro-9 (Kahr CM9) and a a small 380 (LCP) and find they are equally as unfun to shoot as you'd expect, because physics. However I practice a bit and can keep all rounds from both in a paper plate sized area at 15 feet, so I'm happy. I feed the Kahr 147 grain JHPs while the LCP...

    Streamlight 1L-1AA bit disappointing…?

    I've carried and used mine pretty much consistently since 2019. I find it's a good compromise between a high dollar "tactical" light and a Walmart cheapie. I usually run AAs in mine as I can get them from work, but I still get good performance. Not all our experiences will be the same - what fun...

    EDC Rotation. What's yours?

    This is the one I've settled on; it works for me. I add a Glock 26 with a spare magazine and a Snakestaff ETQ tourniquet when not at work.

    This one has pushed all the others out of the nest. Two levels of brightness, easy UI, can use the rechargeable 14500 or regular AA's, and it's easier to carry than my 1L-1AA.

    What’s Your Go-To Flashlight and Why?

    The light that finds it's way into my pocket more lately has been my Thrunite Saber. With two brightness levels and ease of use and carry, it has supplanted my 1L-1AA for most days.
