    Hurry up new Quarks!

Have to echo what reppans and bdckr have said. Without a doubt there are many nice improvements to the light (more robust build, nice nichia emitter, inclusion of tail cap clip on for tail standing, etc), but the change to the voltage range seems like a backward step IMHO.

Promethean Beta QR GAW March 2019 *** Winner Mill321 ***

Re: Promethean Beta QR GAW March 2019 Not only would the Beta QR make a great EDC light due to the QR mechanism, but the small form factor and versatile driver makes this a great light weight back packing light for me as well.

Foursevens: Research Poll- what do you want to see?

I agree with ronniepudding: +1 on making Atom A0 titanium (Nichia 219) with progressive interface, like it's larger siblings in the Atom Line. +1 on making new Quarks physically compatible with the old legacy Quarks.

Foursevens: Research Poll- what do you want to see?

GL, thank you for starting this poll. To expand on what thesnark17 said above, I'd like to see the Quark line brought back in some fashion, particularly the following legacy features (credit to reppans for introducing me to what has become my favorite light): -Broad Voltage (1-4.2) that allows...

LOL, I honestly thought the same thing, but after many attempts, finally (to my relief..haha), saw the little pop up indicating the inbox was full.

    REVIEW: Lumintop TOOL AAA (XP-G2 , 1xAAA/10440)

Seems like a great light and since this is the latest of many reviews I have read, I ended up ordering a couple of these a few days back. However, this is the first time I have come across any anodizing concerns, which is a bit disappointing to find out, but still seems to be an overall quality...

New Copper Worm with N219 Arrived!

Re: New Copper Worm with N219 announced These are great looking lights, and while I appreciate the increased lumens, it's disappointing to see that the sub-lumen option is apparently gone.

    AA/AAA Light for gift

What about one of the zebralights, such as the sc5 or sc52? I think they meet most of your criteria (with the controversial exception of the User Interface). Some people find it simple and some don't However, they are usually robust, compact, good throw and flood balance, nice beam color...

    What knife/knives do you EDC?

I Prefer to keep it light and simple, and cheap in regards to knives because I don't have any heavy duty needs. So, the ubiquitous Kershaw Skyline (great price, flipper, thin, decent blade, and lightweight). Another, slightly more expensive, but better knife, that fits my criteria, is the Bench...

Beginner's Guide to explain simple LED flashlight.

Terrific explanation. I have come across a few other explanations that have gone over my head, but I think this struck the perfect balance of keeping it informative, but simple enough for newbies such as myself to understand. Thanks!

AAA companion to a Snow Peak Mini Hozuki

Lots of great options posted by Jon, but I have to say I find the i3s the most appealing. Thanks to Jon's wonderful information about aaa lights in general, I have become an i3s convert. At first, their unique appearance and colors, as opposed to the regular, tactical looking lights, was a turn...
