    LED automotive lighting, imperfect implimentation?

That kind of info is very specific and not readily available by the automaker. You'd most likely have to break a perfectly good headlight to find any info stamped on bulb if there's any info at all. Then you'd have to narrow it down to chip manufacturer.

    LED automotive lighting, imperfect implimentation?

Nah youre not going to be able to find the exact chip of the led used. But i'm going to assume it has good CRI.

    LED automotive lighting, imperfect implimentation?

When you pay 30K+ for a car, they're not going to use cheap LED chips. But you're right. Xenons and halogens have great CRI but LED's have been improving greatly with their CRIs. Many LED streetlights mimic exactly the color temp of Xenons.

    LED automotive lighting, imperfect implimentation?

I think this a classic bicycle helmet issue. Do you wear a helmet because its safer if you crash? Or do you forgo it for comfort and style points? Overtaking vs passing

To put the act of good driving into words is very difficult in my opinion. You can only be general with words. All the nuances should be held in the mind of a good driver. Good driving is an ongoing experiment of different techniques and refinement. You should not have gotten that ticket...

    Overtaking vs passing

I disagree with this post. Overtaking and passing is literally the same thing. If you are continuasly passing/overtaking cars, you are SPEEDING. Secondly, when you pass up a car, its best to do this slowly. You'd WANT the other driver to know where you are. This way they don't switch lanes...

    Being Seen From Oncoming Traffic

I think flashing red is best. Yes it will bother drivers but you're at a huge disadvantage in a bike.
