Fenix HM61R ticking all the boxes?

Has anyone tried the Amprius sa110 battery in their Fenix headlamps?

    Anyone tested 1.5V 14500 AA Lithium-ion batteries?

I don't use them in flashlights, because I don't want the extra drop in efficiency from two DC DC converters. Ideally I use lithium ion cells directly in all my flashlights. These cells are great for very low drain applications, especially things that aren't designed to work well with nimh...

    Anyone tested 1.5V 14500 AA Lithium-ion batteries?

It's hard to compare mah because the voltage is different. mwhr is a measure of energy, it's volts times mah. Harder to compute with the newer batteries that have voltages that adjust down continuously.

    Anyone tested 1.5V 14500 AA Lithium-ion batteries?

Some new contenders for the largest capacity: https://www.xtar.cc/product/xtar-1-5v-aa-clr-4300mwh-2700mah-lithium-battery.html https://www.xtar.cc/product/xtar-aa-lithium-lr-3000mah-usb-c-battery I have only used the 4150 mwhr version...

    Anyone tested 1.5V 14500 AA Lithium-ion batteries?

https://www.xtar.cc/product/xtar-aa-lithium-4150mwh-battery-with-low-voltage-indicator/ -20C to 60c Usually discharge at extremely low temp is fine. You just can't charge below freezing. What cells do you have that are exposed to -40F?

    Anyone tested 1.5V 14500 AA Lithium-ion batteries?

Are there any lithium ion batteries better than the XTar 4150 mwhr ones? I'm going to get more for my smart locks. They don't seem to work well with nimh batteries. The low battery alarm comes on way too early.

Fenix HM61R ticking all the boxes?

I think the hm65t is lighter. There's also the new HM 62t which is even higher.

Fenix HM61R ticking all the boxes?

Yeah, I think the cycle life on the N40 is pretty low, maybe a few hundred cycles. But, I don't think I care much for something that is used about once a week.

Fenix HM61R ticking all the boxes?

Random question from someone that hasn't been paying attention for a while. Why would I pick the HM61R V2 over the HM65-T V2? For a running / working light. Also, anyone running the Vapcell N40 in these lights? Seems like we'd get a nice boost in runtime.

    Anyone tested 1.5V 14500 AA Lithium-ion batteries?

Yeah, I'm thinking about the Xtar batteries specifically for very low drain applications, like garage door monitors and smart locks. Specifically, poorly designed ones that don't work well with NiMh batteries. Ones that cut out at 1.25 v per cell, leaving a lot of capacity in the battery. Well...

    Anyone tested 1.5V 14500 AA Lithium-ion batteries?

Thanks everyone! I'll try the Xtar ones.

    Anyone tested 1.5V 14500 AA Lithium-ion batteries?

I've been looking at 1.5V 14500 AA lithium-ion batteries for a while but haven't found any with good reviews. I need a few for low discharge applications that don't work well with NiMh batteries, i.e. they cut off at 1.25V because of poor circuit design. I hate to keep using alkaline batteries...

So the lowest setting only consumes 750 µA. Crazy.

WHAAAAA? You ran a discharge test for 200 days?

    The Official Zebralight Thread

Ok, I'm curious. I thought I was a flashlight nerd, but I may not be deep in enough. Maybe I'm just more interested in ultralight headlamps for running. I have a Fenix E35 v3 and I can't really imagine what would be that much better about the sc65c or other zebralights. I can guess the CRI...
