At least two... A copper Maratac in my pocket, and a small button cell light on the Keychain with my car key... Sometimes I will carry a Surefire E2D also, if I know that I will be out late or parking in a poorly lit area...
Just seems like a good habit to have...
Good question... I thought they were made in the United States, but considering the manufacturing quality, I guess I will have to add Macau to my list of places that make good stuff... I have a couple, including one of the solid copper ones, and they're beautifully made and work very reliably...
For me it was practicality first - many years as a server engineer, trying to chase down cables in dark places or find a connector deep inside a poorly lit rack... Then came the coolness factor with the wonderfully machined and polished pieces both custom, like Hanko, and production stuff, like...
