    Surefire M2 M3-style

The difference in the beams between the original L5 and the newer A series is dramatic. I use a Kroma on the low/red setting for my night time roaming. My wife likes her ugly S2 Stratum. Lol

    Surefire M2 M3-style

Perhaps they’re not selling well because they’re too bulky. I know they made them to emulate the top end of the M3/M4/M6 bodies but the heat dissipating rings aren’t necessary with led’s.

    Surefire M2 M3-style

I just checked the bay and found 5 L5’s ranging in price from 157.00 to 399.00. None are the improved A version. It would be cool if Mark at Lumens Factory would consider making this version of the C to M adapter.

    Surefire M2 M3-style

I have two L5’s. If I could remove the lower portion of the head without damaging any other part, I’d try it. It would be a cool lego.

    Surefire M2 M3-style

An 18 year old thread but it’s still interesting I can’t view the picture but I have an idea of what it looks like. I’ve had the same idea.To some members who may not understand the concept it’s quit simple. Shorten the M3 body to accept 2 primary 123’s or one 16650/18650 battery. I...

    Surefire M2 M3-style

Very cool collection. Kudos. It appears the base of the L5 head was used as an adaptor to connect the Z46 head to the M2 body.

    Sheaths For Your Surefire Lights.

I have another pouch similar to these except it's all black,a little smaller and it has just one quick release belt loop. I was scrounging around in our attic looking for that pouch and found this instead.LOL

My Two Best Deals From This Past Year.

It's always a thrill when you find a gem,or in this case two gems,at bargain prices. The first is an M3 and it was priced well below it's current value. When it arrived I was surprised by its condition given the pictures were very dark and its condition wasn't readily discernible. The third photo...

    Sheaths For Your Surefire Lights.

I almost forgot about these two.Since these have belt loops,I would consider these to be sheaths rather than storage pouches.

Why is the SureFire 6P so good?

Holy Toledo, this thread has legs.LOL This was the first super-light that I had ever seen. When a friend told me he had a flashlight that could fit in palm of your hand, was 3 to 4 times brighter than any known Mag-Lite which was 4 times larger,I doubted him. When he showed this new wonder-light to...

Why is the SureFire C2 so good?

I see this is a 6 year old thread. I liked these lights because Surefire made them.LOL All kidding aside, they made the Rogers grip much easier to use than the P series of lights, they were innovative at that time and they were robustly constructed. I will still buy them if I find them for a...
