I think this is where we were the last time I made a meeting. We did a late-night walk along the wall trying to see who could reach across the lake to the other side.
This is a nice area and wood is provided for the BBQ/Fire pits.
But Shepp could also work for me. I have family up that way...
All cells are parallel so any current applied will be split across whatever number of cells you have in the carrier. So you are correct, it would be 2A to a single cell and 0.5A to four.
I don't have the "AC adaptor pack" and nor can I find much information about it. Is it a proper "charger"...
Panasonic (Chinese) Eneloops are showing to be inferior to Sanyo (Japanese) varieties but you probably won't notice the difference for at least 400 cycles.
There are some extensive test threads comparing the two if you are a purist. I'd prefer to get the Japanese ones (made by Fuji FDK) if...
Not sure if it can charge/discharge simultaneously. I'm hoping so but I've been searching for hard info on this for a while now.
HKJ was apparently looking into testing them for us but so far I haven't seen any news from him. He's a pretty busy guy and it may not be a priority.

That particular 2AA (Fasttech/Amazon) pack is simply crap. I blew two of them in a few minutes charging a phone that draws only 500mA.
The only thing I use the remaining ones for is running USB touch lights which draw less than 250mA.
Don't waste your money.
I'm still waiting on delivery of some Soshine SC-EAA units from Fasttech. SKU 1523806. A little over US$10 ea.
These take 4 AA cells and charge via USB. The specs show input at 1000mA (5V) but output is only 500mA. It seems to charge in pairs.

Just looking at the options here, the Ikea Ladda Charger looks like a pretty good budget option. According to the PDF manual it charges AAs at 1000mA and AAAs at 500mA with -dV termination.
I already have a C9000 so don't need this right now but it looks like an OK device.
Apart from the slow...
Due to your low number of posts I can't quite work out if this is sarcasm?
I would definitely not be putting much trust in user ratings on Amazon. Unfortunately, a lot of Amazon users will be the type to just turn it on, see a bright light and give it a thumbs up. I've seen people post high...
