    Well Surefire is definitely in the running. What got me started on this is the abundance of negative feedback I've been reading about Zebralight. I feel as though its on every section of cpf. I have a SC52 that is so cool, but all I hear is... my flashlight broke a day after the warranty...

    I hate reading posts like this. I love my SC52, but if it's dead in 5 months I'll be equally as ticked as you are. It gives you a sour feeling.

    It was definitely the battery. Holy smokes this little thing is bright. It's definitely NOT meant for regular AA batteries. Does it work with them? Sure, but it doesn't shine with them.

    That's the best news I've heard all day . I ordered Eneloops a few days ago and they are supposed to arrive tomorrow (and I was using Alkaline). Thank you for your opinion.

    I think you're right. However, I still love my light and think it looks way better outdoors than my LD10.

    Nice response, thanks. I have been aiming both lights at the wall and judging it that way. I did the ceiling bounce and noticed the SC52 illuminated the room just a tad better. But I still don't see where those extra 180 lumens are going... that seems like a lot of light I'm just not seeing...
