Good evening everyone, I want to start by thanking you all for this trove of knowledgeable people on all things flashlights. I have a question for everyone regarding a recent purchase and am looking for the best way to get it functioning again.
Below you will see photos of a 1940’s USN Empire belt mounted battery pack, and head lamp assembly. It has room for two cells, larger diameter than C cells, and slighter taller than two high.
I am wanting to get this thing functional again utilizing modern things, or period equivalents. The current (and spare) bulb are rated for 5v.
Any help, I would greatly appreciate it!
